Why a Bootcamp?
Designed and created by experienced coaches and ICF PCC Mentors, Elle Cronin and I created this Bootcamp when the ICF updated its Core Competencies from eleven to eight in November, 2019. They were integrated into ICF Accredited Training Programs in January, 2021. We crafted the this bootcamp to support coaches to stay current with the impactful changes while supporting continued growth—whether pursuing a credential or looking to refresh your coaching mastery.
Following these initial competency updates, the ICF has replaced the Coach Knowledge Assessment (CKA) with the ICF Credentialing Exam (August 2022). While there are many fabulous programs (my favorite share below) that focus on passing the exam with sample questions and tips, our Bootcamp is unique and valuable supplement to the exam prep opportunities . We offer an in-depth review of the standards of excellence, ethics, and skills that are essential not only for the exam but also for your development as a coach. We do conclude with sample questions for those that are preparing to take one of the two exams.

Introducing The ACC Credential Exam! Starting November 18, 2024 the ACC Exam has been redesigned to assess candidates at their specific stage of coaching. FAQS - ICF Credentialing Exam
Individuals renewing (but not upgrading) an existing ICF Credential will not be required to take the new exam as part of the renewal process.
At this time, the ICF Credentialing Exam must be taken with each new application for the PCC and MCC Credential.
